G&E MD Construction Ltd delivered a full façade refurbishment programme for this occupied council office building in Bedford. Works included the careful removal of existing non-compliant cladding, installation of new fire-rated replacement panels, and comprehensive cavity barrier upgrades to bring the building fully into compliance with current fire safety legislation.

The project was delivered in phases to minimise disruption to building occupants, with all works completed on programme and to budget. The completed scheme has significantly improved the building's fire safety credentials and visual appearance.
